Engine Remap - Stage 1 - TouringSuits Factory Exhaust System & DPF Back Systems

Engine Remap increase engine torque output by approx. 100NM
Increased longevity of engine by, removal of EGR cycle without modification to engine or inlet.
Cleaner engine oil without mixing carbon build up.
Reduction in acceleration lag by remapping of torque request v rpm table, not amplification of accel signal like ETC button.
Revised boost limiting tables to achieve peak boost at earlier RPM. Increase in overall factor limit to 16PSI. (12PSI STD)
Air to Fuel Ratio conservative at 18:1 @1600RPM

Increased Engine Torque output - stage 2
Increased Engine Horsepower - stage 2
Re-scaled fuelling for more efficiency and better economy. 30% increase in low to mid-range power between 1650rpm and 2800RPM.

Increased turbo boost efficiency and lifted maximum to 18.5 PSI
Engine performance Emphasis on torque and economy SUITABLE FOR towing.
EGR tables modified and control switched off. No requirement for EGR Blank off.
Modified Cold start fuelling to reflect changes to EGR valve settings.

With the popularity of performance upgrades using engine management and larger exhausts, Safari 4x4 Engineering took the decision to design a snorkel system that not only raised the air intake to prevent ingesting harmful elements to the vehicles air cleaner, but also would be able to deliver the necessary volume of air into the engine, therefore maximising the performance enhancements potential.

Huge air flow is but one aspect of the ultimate in snorkel design suitable for the Toyota 200 Series Landcruiser 09/2015 Onwards 4.5L Diesel 1VD-FTV & 4.6L V8 DOHC VVT-i Petrol (1UR-FE Engine) . The Safari ARMAX snorkel air ram is designed to perform two very important roles.
